Our Services

All R Kids

All R Kids Supervised Visitation Center, or ARK, provides a safe, neutral, child-friendly environment for supervised visits and exchanges between non-residential parents and their children.

All R Kids (ARK) supervised Visitation Center was established in 1992 as the first supervised visitation center in New Hampshire.  ARK provides a safe, neutral environment for supervised visitation and exchange that promotes healthy interaction between family members.  These services may be appropriate for a variety of family situations, including child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse, or when the safety of the child and/or residential parent is at risk during visitation.

ARK reflects a warm, friendly, child-centered atmosphere.  The family room has a comfortable couch, as well as child-appropriate furniture, toys and games.  A fully equipped kitchen allows parents and children to make and enjoy meals together.  ARK has a second visiting room furnished with a cozy reading area, toys, and games.  Other child-friendly features include a built-in slide, cartoon character wall murals, and a child-size bowling alley.

ARK meets the standards of the New Hampshire Family Visitation and Access Cooperative and the national guidelines for supervised visitation, created by the Supervised Visitation Network.

ARK features include:
  • Separate entrances for parents and staggered arrival and departure times
  • Security check upon arrival
  • Security cameras
  • Trained visitation monitors for all cases
  • Neutral, objective documentation of visits and exchanges
  • Confidential visitation records
  • Summary court reports available upon request
  • Optional parenting support services
  • A child-friendly environment

Exchanges

In an exchange, the residential parent drops off the child at the visitation center.  The non-residential parent picks up the child and returns him or her to the ARK at the specified time. The remainder of the visit is unsupervised and occurs away from the ARK.

Visits

Fully-supervised visits are closely monitored by ARK staff.  A visitation monitor facilitates the visit and remains in the visitation room with the family.  Semi-supervised visits also may occur; these are monitored only periodically by ARK staff.  Visits are generally one hour in length, once or twice per week.

A visitation monitor accompanies the child at all times and provides documentation of the visit or exchange.  No physical or visual contact between parents and-or guardians is permitted.

ARK does not make recommendations or give opinions regarding present or future custody or visitation.

Accessing ARK Services

Referrals are accepted from the courts, crisis centers, guardian ad litem, DCYF, social service agencies, lawyers, and by individuals who seek our services on their own.

Prior to visits or exchanges, each parent or guardian completes an orientation interview individually.  Copies of court documents and other pertinent information are collected at this time.

In court-mandated cases, the court order determines who is responsible for payment for ARK services, the type of service appropriate for each family, and any restrictions that may apply.

Cost of Services

Participants are billed by the hour based on a sliding fee scale.  No individual seeking services will be turned away due to inability to pay.

Visitation and Exchange Hours

ARK is open for supervised visits and exchanges by appointment.  Hours are subject to availability. Please contact ARK at 603-357-4661 for more information.

Client Success Story

Understanding Military Culture

Monadnock Family Services was a sponsor for a day-long program in Keene – one of nine statewide – to help mental health professionals achieve a better understanding of military culture. The program was conducted with leadership from the New Hampshire National Guard as Guardsmen and Reservists and their families prepare for the largest deployment of troops in the state’s history.

Ruth Recovered Her Life Through In SHAPE

I was suffering from depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia. Starting the In SHAPE program wasn’t easy for me, having to meet people at a certain time, go to a gym where there were a lot of other people, and discuss myself with a mentor. But my first mentor was a perfect match for me.
