Monadnock Adult Care Center
The Monadnock Adult Care Center is located at 22 North Street in Jaffrey, New Hampshire.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of participants, families, and caregivers while supporting an individual’s efforts to remain independent. The Monadnock Adult Care Center offers structured care during the day to adults with physical, emotional, or social challenges.
Our structured day program:
- Helps adults remain in their homes as long a possible.
- Provides respite care for families.
- Offers activities that maintain or improve the physical, mental, and social well-being of the participants.
Availability and costs
The Monadnock Adult Care Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Fees for services are reimbursable through Medicaid and many private insurances. We also offer a sliding fee scale based on income so that our center is open to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
Transportation
We provide transportation to and from home whenever possible. Transportation for trips, outings, and community activities also is available.
Social and Medical Services include:

- Piano, guitar, and sing-along sessions

Renewed interest in life
Many adults experience a period of apathy after an illness, death of a loved one, or other major life change. The Monadnock Adult Care Center can help by:
- Providing structure for each day or week
- Promoting involvement in enjoyable activities and programs
- Focusing on the present and future, not the past
- Renewing the desire to continue living.
