![]() MANY Options MANY Options is a low-cost, after school program offering youth in grades 5 through 9 an array of fun, safe and supervised activities ranging from sports to the arts to community service projects. The program is located at 24 Vernon Street in Keene directly across from the Keene Middle School and is open each day after school from 2:30–5:30pm. An annual sliding scale membership fee is charged to participants. Healthy snacks are included in the cost. Some of the current activities for participants include: cooking, theatre, animal care, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventure. MANY Options Summer Day Camp MANY Options Camp offers an array of summer experiences including outdoor games, hiking, swimming, biking, ropes course activities and field trips to local museums and attractions. The camp provides opporunities for participants to have fun, build self-esteem, develop life skills, develop positive peer and adult relationships, take part in regular physical activity, and participate in outdoor recreational experiences. The program is located at 24 Vernon Street in Keene directly across from the Keene Middle School and is open each day from 9am–4:30pm. ![]() Challenge Program The Challenge Program offers activity-based group experiences that utilize problem-solving initiatives to enhance self-esteem, cooperation, decision-making and communication skills. Cooperative games, a ropes course with high and low elements, rock climbing, hiking and orienteering provide challenging experiences for individuals, families, and groups. Debriefing discussions following each activity provide relevance to the experience so that skills become transferable to other life situations. A summer day camp for 5-8 graders is also part of the program’s offerings. ActingOut ActingOut is a program for young people that utilizes the expressive arts (movement, drama) to support personal growth and therapeutic needs. On-going after school groups are offered for youths middle school-aged and older. Training for and performance of issues-oriented improvisational theater is another offering of the program.
