MANY Options wouldn't be able do the things they do without the help of their many volunteers and contributors. We would like to thank the following people and groups for their support:
PlusTimeNH: This organization was created to help sustain afterschool programming in NH. Visit their site to see all they have to offer.
City of Keene Youth Services: Learn more about the youth services in the Keene area for kids. The site includes links to Youth Services programs and Youth Community Resources and opportunities, such as the MANY Options program.
MANY: Monadnock Action Network for Youth (or MANY) helps local youth-serving agencies and the community members coordinate on youth and preventative programs. MANY also supports the development of substance-free activities for youth in the Monadnock region. MANY Initiatives include Its About Us web site for teens and Its For Parents web site for parents of teens.
Fast Friends: Every week the kids are driven to the Fast Friends site to work with the greyhounds that have been saved.
Keene Community Kitchen: Kids go to the Community Kitchen to prepare food to be handed out to needy families in the area. The community kitchen also provides snacks and drinks for the MANY Options program.
Keene Family YMCA: We have a membership with the YMCA that allows the kids to use the YMCA facilities for swimming and extra curricular sports.
Monadnock Humane Society: The kids get an opportunity to go to the shelter to learn how to take care of animals, work and play with the animals and other tasks the shelter staff needs help with.
Stonewall Farm: At this working farm the kids learn how to take care of the animals, do work around the barn, learn about farming, work in the gardens, and work and play with the animals.
Acting Out: Jodi Clark is currently running a program call Improv Sampler, and will run options for Acting Out all year.
Challenge: Megan Taft is in charge of the outdoor adventure programming.
Nancy A. Cavanaugh: Parent volunteer Nancy Cavanaugh helps us with the web site and is a member of our Advisory Council.
KidzArt: KidzArt runs various programs for the kids year round.
Yankee Lanes: The kids go to Yankee Lanes to bowl once a week. The end of the year party was also held there last year.
Liz Seaman: Liz provides yoga instructions for the kids.
Richard Clough: Richard teaches music exploration.
Christine Parshall: Christine works with the UNH Cooperative Extension and takes turns with Keene State Dietetic Interns to teach nutrition and cooking. She is also a member of the Advisory Council.
Kenny Harris: Kenny is a freelance photographer and Antioch NE student who is teaching the kids basics of photography. There will be an exibit this spring to showcase their work.
Rob from Toy City: Rob is the "Dungeon Master" and runs the Dungeons & Dragons option. Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop roleplaying game (RPG) that has been in existence since 1974 and is played by people of all ages.
